and, the 3D Printed Polypropylene hanger has good memory retention. When released the hanger reverts back to its original shape.
Just like injection molded parts, real Polypropylene Thermoplastic 3D Printed parts can be bent and flexed without breaking.
When released, the part goes back to its original shape.
As a comparison, the hanger in the two pictures below was 3D Printed with ABS Thermoplastic. Just like injection molded ABS, the hanger is more rigid and not as flexible as the hanger 3D Printed with Polypropylene Thermoplastic.
3D Printing parts with real Polypropylene Thermoplastic makes it possible to have parts with functional “snap fits” and “living hinges” just like injection molded parts.
Now that 3D Accuracy is 3D Printing parts with real Polypropylene Thermoplastic it is no longer necessary to have parts 3D Printed with synthetic “polypropylene like” materials that don’t have the same chemical resistance, feel, flexibility or strength characteristics of real Polypropylene. Why would you do that when you can now have parts 3D Printed with the real deal?
